The fine print, in plain words

Privacy policy
VellaMotion is made and sold by Sanjeet Kumar Sangam, trading as VellaMotion, Madhepura, Bihar, India ("we"). This policy says what information VellaMotion and this website handle.
Your pictures and projects stay on your computer
VellaMotion analyses, animates and exports on your own computer. Your pictures, videos, projects and everything you make with it are never sent to us or to anyone else. There is no account to create and no cloud processing.
What the app sends, and to whom
- Your licence key and this computer's name go to Lemon Squeezy, our seller, when you activate a key, each time VellaMotion starts while online, and when you remove a key from a computer. This checks the key and lets you see your computers in your list.
- Update checks go to GitHub, where updates are published, as ordinary download requests.
- Model downloads come from Hugging Face, GitHub and PyTorch, where the models are published.
Like any website, these services see your internet address when they answer. VellaMotion has no tracking, no analytics and no advertising.
When you buy
Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record: it takes the payment, handles taxes and sends your receipt and key. It holds your name, email, billing country and payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email and what you bought, to support you and to send important notices about your licence.
When you write to us
If you email us, we keep the conversation to help you. A problem report from Help → Report a problem is sent only by you, after you have read it in full; it holds the details you see (versions, your graphics card, the app's recent log), never a picture or a project.
This website
This site uses no cookies and no trackers. It loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which sees your internet address when it sends them.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by writing to support@vellamotion.com. Records a seller must keep by law, such as invoices, are kept for as long as the law requires.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with its date. We'll email buyers about any change that affects them.
Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and Sanjeet Kumar Sangam, trading as VellaMotion ("we"), for using VellaMotion: the desktop app and its Premiere Pro panel. By installing, buying or using VellaMotion you agree to them; the installer shows them before it installs anything.
The free trial
You may try VellaMotion free for 7 days on one computer, with every feature. Videos exported during the trial are at most 720p and carry a small mark. After 7 days, exporting needs a licence.
Your licence
VellaMotion is licensed to you, not sold. We keep the rights to the app and everything that comes with it; your licence lets you use it as these terms say.
- Lite and Pro (one-time licences): you may use the version you bought, with the features of your plan, for as long as you like. They include every update of that version (for version 2, every 2.x update); a later major version is a paid upgrade.
- Subscription: you may use every feature, beta features included, and every new version, while your subscription is active. It renews each month or year until you cancel. If it ends, its features stop until you renew.
- A Lite or Pro key may be active on up to 3 computers of yours at a time, a subscription key on up to 5. It is for you, or for one person in your business; it may not be shared, sold or published.
- Features marked Beta work and are included, and they may still change as they improve.
What you make is yours
You own the videos you make with VellaMotion and may use them commercially, with no credit needed. You are responsible for having the rights to the pictures, clips and music you bring into it.
What you may not do
- Copy, resell or redistribute VellaMotion itself, or get around its licence checks.
- Take its presets, templates, Grade looks or other built-in assets out of the app to sell, share or publish them on their own. Using them in the videos you make is what they're for. Parts under their own open licence (Third-party notices) keep that licence.
- Decompile it or take it apart, or use it to build a competing product, except where the law allows it.
We may disable a key that is shared, resold or bought fraudulently.
Third-party parts
VellaMotion includes open-source software, fonts and AI models, each under its own licence (listed under Third-party notices). Those licences apply to those parts.
No warranty
VellaMotion is provided as it is. We work to make it reliable and fix what doesn't work as described, but we can't promise it will suit every computer, project or version of Premiere Pro. Keep backups of your work.
Limits of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit or lost work, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for VellaMotion in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending
You may stop using VellaMotion at any time. If you break these terms, your licence may end and your key be disabled.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India; disputes go to the courts of Madhepura, Bihar. Questions: support@vellamotion.com.
Refund policy
Try VellaMotion free for 7 days before you buy, so you know it suits your computer and your work.
- Lite and Pro: if it isn't right for you, ask within 14 days of buying and you get a full refund, no questions asked.
- Subscription: cancel any time from your receipt email or your Lemon Squeezy account; it runs until the end of the period you paid for. The first payment can be refunded within 14 days; renewals are not refunded once a new period has started.
- To ask for a refund, write to support@vellamotion.com with your order number, or reply to your receipt.
- Refunds are paid by Lemon Squeezy to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 working days. The key stops working once the refund is made.

About FFmpeg
VellaMotion encodes videos with FFmpeg 7.1, the "essentials" Windows build from gyan.dev, shipped unmodified as a separate program (ffmpeg-win-x86_64-v7.1.exe) that VellaMotion runs. That build includes GPL components such as x264 and x265, so it is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3; its licence text comes with the app. The rest of VellaMotion is a separate work and is not covered by the GPL.
The complete source code of that FFmpeg build is available from the VellaMotion releases page (published with the first release), and on request from support@vellamotion.com for at least three years after we last ship this version. FFmpeg is a trademark of Fabrice Bellard.
Sounds and pictures
The built-in sound effects and the screen templates' photos are released under CC0 (public domain).
